Some online programs for out-of-state people, under limited circumstances ordered by a
San Diego DUI court, can also be taken.

Online DUI classes or programs are not approved by California DMV. However, in
certain situations, your San Diego DUI Attorney can obtain a court order by a
San Diego or California Court and/or if directed by Assessment Unit of Court.
California DMV’s alcohol program classes requirement is not satisfied.

If you are out of state, your DUI lawyer may be able to assist you to do your
program for San Diego Court online at
either http://www.myduiclass.com , http://www.tomwilsoncounseling.com/onlineDUI.html ,
or http://www.duicourseonline.com/DUICourseOnline.aspx . Their
www.OnlineDuiClass.com program modified their curriculum to meet state
specific requirements such as Colorado, Nevada, New Jersey, and California.
They also include a FREE 1 hour online Victims Impact Panel required by many
drunk driving courts as part of the online DUI course curriculum. The DUI panel
classes are video streamed to the clients computer followed by a brief quiz.
The DUI Program has had 100% acceptance of this method of delivery.

If your state of residence, or the state where the DUI occurred in is listed
in http://www.myduiclass.com/states.html, you need to follow any indicated
steps. If your state is not listed, that simply means that Right Direction
Services’ online alcohol program has not been contacted by the authority in
that state to require clients to get preapproval for DUI classes.

If your San Diego DUI criminal defense attorney obtains an order by the Court to
do the DUI classes or program out of state, you must also request San Diego
Court’s Assessment Unit (when you speak with SAAU or the Substance Alcohol
Assessment Unit) that you be directed to do your DUI program or classes online.
