San Diego County DUI Law Center provides a service for San Diego folks. One part of that quality service is the warning of DUI checkpoint locations.

It appears this free San Diego California DUI attorney service may be working, at least on the North county.

San Diego Sheriff’s Department staged a San Diego DUI checkpoint for St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Encinitas from 7:00 PM-3:00 AM Friday to Saturday, March 16 & 17, 2012.
That DUI checkpoint was off Olivenhain and Rancho Santa Fe roads Friday.

518 vehicles were trapped in this San Diego Drunk Driving checkpoint.
Nearly half, 229 drivers, were evaluated.
But no DUI arrests were made!
Zero.

Efficient? One must wonder what facts the officers possessed to take the time to evaluate that many people!

DUI patrol throughout the weekend, resulted in 2 DUI arrests friday and 9 DUI arrests saturday. Should San Diego Sheriff’s Dept. be concerned how this zero might look like a waste of taxpayer money?
