San Diego County DUI Law Center struggled to keep up with finding the many California DUI checkpoint locations but here are some.

San Diego California DUI Deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, Imperial Beach Sheriff’s Station, conducted a San Diego California DUI checkpoint on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 8:30 PM to 2:30 AM in the 900 block of Palm Ave., in the City of Imperial Beach, San Diego California DUI attorneys announce today.

An IB San Diego California DUI checkpoint was staffed by approximately 7 DUI trained Sheriff Deputies, attorneys are told. The purpose of the San Diego California DUI checkpoint was to remove impaired and / or unlicensed drivers from the roadway, public education, deterrence, and thereby increasing the safety of all drivers and allowing for a safer driving environment. Funding for this San Diego California DUI operation was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

970 vehicle drivers were contacted during the San Diego California DUI checkpoint. The San Diego California DUI operation resulted in one DUI arrest. Twenty eight vehicles were directed into the San Diego California DUI checkpoint’s secondary inspection area for further evaluation. Six citations were issued for suspended, revoked, or no driver’s license and no vehicles were impounded during the San Diego California DUI operation, lawyers say.
