The San Diego County DUI Law Center has been updating 4th of July California DUI checkpoint locations all weekend, San Diego DUI attorney Rick Mueller said today.

San Diego’s Encinitas Sheriff’s Station set up a huge trap a couple of nights ago – a California DUI checkpoint as part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign during the 4th of July weekend, at 1800 block of South Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas on Friday, July 5th through Saturday, July 6th from 8:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., San Diego DUI lawyers report.

767 vehicles passed through the San Diego California DUI checkpoint. Only 2 people were arrested for San Diego California DUI.

The San Diego California DUI checkpoint’s goal included removing impaired and/or unlicensed drivers from the roadway, public education, and deterrence to increase the safety of all drivers. Funding for this San Diego California DUI operation was from the state.
