The Sheriff’s Department made 4 San Diego DUI arrests arising out of their May 27th, 2011 7:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Imperial Beach DUI Checkpoint, lawyers warn.

In one 12-hour period between 6 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday morning the California Highway Patrol arrested 51 people in San Diego County for driving under the influence, 25 more arrests than were made in the same time period last Memorial Day weekend.
