On tAugust 29, 2014, between 8:00 PM and 3:00 AM, San Diego DUI deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Lemon Grove Station will be stage their usual San Diego DUI sobriety and driver license checkpoint at the same location they always stage at: 7900 Broadway in the city of Lemon Grove, San Diego DUI lawyers heard today.
This San Diego DUI Lemon Grove checkpoint will be staffed by approximately 12 specially trained Sheriff’s Deputies. The primary purpose of the San Diego DUI checkpoint is to raise easy revenue. The secondary purpose stated as a primary purpose by the San Diego DUI authorities is to remove impaired and/or unlicensed drivers from the roadway and secondarily to promote public education and deterrence increasing safety for drivers, DUI attorneys in San Diego are told.
