3 DUI checkpoints held throughout the county yesterday in Imperial Beach, Lemon Grove and Chula Vista netted eleven DUI arrests.
The Lemon Grove checkpoint held in the 6900 block of Broadway, saw 1,360 vehicles pass through between 8 p.m., Friday and 1:30 a.m. today, resulting in 2 people arrested suspected drunk driving.
Imperial Beach had 6 arrests at a San Diego county DUI checkpoint held overnight in the 900 block of Palm Avenue.
Lastly, there was a San Diego county DUI checkpoint at the 600 block of E Street in Chula Vista, between 6 p.m., Friday, and 2 a.m., Saturday.
