San Diego DUI criminal defense attorneys discovered the following information provided by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

The Temecula Police Department will be conducting a California DUI drivers license checkpoint on August 30, 2008 from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the City. The purpose of this drunk driving checkpoint will be to check for impaired drivers and check driver’s license status.

Funding for this California dui / drunk driving program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
