A popular Gaslamp DUI Checkpoint sparked 15 drunk driving arrests in downtown San Diego, lawyers announce.    Leaving San Diego June 7th night could have meant you were one of the 966 cars that went through 1500 Fifth Ave. San Diego DUI checkpoint, say attorneys.

From 11:00 pm to 3:00 a.m. Saturday June 8th, 2013, the San Diego DUI Police staged a trap which screened over six hundred vehicles and detained thirty-seven California drivers, one of which did not have a license.  16 cars were impounded because of the 15 DUI arrets and unlicensed driver.
