SAN DIEGO DUI lawyer news:
Presiding over numerous San Diego DUI cases, distinguished San Diego County Judge Lillian Y. Lim has retired after nearly 22 years.
A superlative career, during which San Diego DUI attorneys appeared in front of her, she is deemed a fine Judge.
Lim, 55, was appointed to the San Diego Municipal Court by Gov. George Deukmejian in 1986. She became a Superior Court judge in 1998.
Before serving on the bench, Lim worked as a deputy attorney general for the state Department of Justice for nine years, part of which she spent working in the Medi-Cal fraud unit.
Lim has served as president of the California Asian Judges Association and has been an active member of several organizations, including the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of California and Filipino-American Lawyers of San Diego.
San Diego DUI lawyers – who achieved good San Diego DUI results in her court – should applaud.
