If you have a second San Diego DUI this year and currently are on California license suspension for 1 year, will the new pilot program (AB 91 / SB 598) help you get an early restricted license in or after July?
The answer to this question depends on whether the DMV upheld the 967 (multiple offender suspension) action.
If so, as it currently stands, the answer to this question is “no”; however, that may change if additional California legislation is passed (or amended) that allows one to stay the DMV APS suspension action along with the second offense California DUI conviction (A-3 Suspension action).
Otherwise, you will not be eligible for a restricted driver’s license until you have served the one year suspension action.
