San Diego DUI lawyers are still gathering intel on last night’s California drunk driving checkpoints.
Poway was a bust. But in Imperial Beach, they actually busted a single DUI driver!
On 12/28/12 from 8:30 PM to 03:00 AM, DUI deputies from San Diego Sheriff’s Department, Imperial Beach Station wasted taxpayers money with a DUI Checkpoint at Palm Avenue and 9th Street, in the city of Imperial Beach.
The California DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint trapped 1,154 vehicles.
1,089 San Diego vehicles were screened in the primary drunk driving inspection area, lawyers are told.
49 vehicles visited the San Diego DUI secondary screening area.
One (1) DUI arrest was the net result.
Ten citations for driving without a valid driver’s license were issued, attorneys are told.
