You live in an area where there are lots of – shall we say – “elderly folk.”  When driving, every time you come to a driveway, you worry about them coming into your lane.  At lights, you watch what they do.  At stop signs, you’re real careful.

What do you do after you were drinking the night before, get up and see an elderly pedestrian, San Diego DUI lawyers ask?

Let the old person walk and wait until they are out of the pedestrian crosswalk, San Diego DUI attorneys suggest.

If the old person does not use the crosswalk, wait for them to get out of the street.

Otherwise this can happen if you still have alcohol in your system, warn California DUI attorneys:

A driver was busted for San Diego California DUI after the death of an 89-year-old pedestrian this morning in National City.

The fatal accident in the 500 block of East 8th Street happened just before 9 a.m.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, identified as 57-year-old Kevin Moore, voluntarily stopped at the scene. He was booked into jail after it was alleged or determined by cops he was under the influence of drugs.
Moore was charged with DUI/drugs causing death and vehicular manslaughter. He is also currently on state parole for a narcotics-related offense.  Uh oh.
