DUI checkpoint police included San Diego Sheriff’s Department, San Diego State Police Department, Chula Vista Police Department, San Diego Police Department and San Diego County Probation Department.
3,802 vehicles were stuck at the DUI checkpoint.
1,330 drivers were further delayed.
31 DUI evaluations were done.
6 arrests were made for San Diego DUI.
7 additional arrests were made for drivers operating a vehicle while their driving privileges were suspended or revoked.
9 additional drivers were issued citations for driving without a valid license and one citation was issued to a driver with an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
13 vehicles were impounded during the San Diego DUI checkpoint, lawyers learned.
