San Diego County DUI Law Center reports additional DUI checkpoint defense information being added to California DUI attorney Rick Mueller’s legal website under these important drunk driving articles:

San Diego California DUI Deputies from the Encinitas Sheriff’s Station conducted a San Diego California DUI checkpoint as part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign during Valentine’s Day.

This San Diego California DUI checkpoint was held in the 1200 block of South Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas on Friday, February 14th through Saturday, February 15th from 7:44 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

566 vehicles passed through this San Diego California DUI checkpoint.

Just 1 person was arrested for San Diego California DUI – driving under the influence of alcohol.
1 person was arrested for San Diego California DUI – driving under the influence of drugs.

Another person was arrested for falsely identifying himself to law enforcement.

3 people were cited for driving on a suspended driver licenses. 3 people were cited for driving while unlicensed. 3 vehicles were impounded during the San Diego California DUI operation.

The apparent purpose of most San Diego California DUI checkpoints is to raise revenue,  but this one will be go down in red ink.
