San Diego County DUI officers wrote 380 tickets Wednesday during a half-day traffic enforcement operation in Escondido, San Diego DUI attorneys are told.
The San Diego criminal enforcement detail also impounded 50 vehicles driven by people without driver’s licenses or with suspended licenses, San Diego DUI lawyers understand.
Police Officers issued 83 speeding citations, with the fastest driver cited going 102 mph down the Valley Center Grade. Another 83 drivers were cited for hazardous driving, including unsafe turning, failing to yield for red lights and stop signs, and crossing over a double yellow line.
Non-moving violations for equipment or mechanical violations were issued to 213 drivers. Fifty were cited for being unable to provide proof of insurance.
